Virtual On Line (IETM) consists of several modules:
THE DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION MANUAL
The user can navigate electronically in the manuals, search for information, display
graphics and easily access related maintenance content.
THE CATALOG
The user can display and navigate in an IPB (Illustrated Parts Catalog), easily
access the relevant drawings and data for each component and jump to related
paragraphs in the Maintenance, Description or Operation manuals.
THE MAINTENANCE MANUAL
The user gets step by step guidance for carrying out task-based maintenance,
navigates through drawings and manuals, and can easily access appropriate
sections in the Description and Operation manuals.
ELECTRICAL DRAWINGS
The user can navigate the drawings, trace wires and carry out automatic
troubleshooting in electrical systems.
FAULT ISOLATION
The system guides the user to find the root cause of a problem by using fault
isolation procedures, advising the appropriate maintenance tasks and verifying
that the malfunction is fixed
TRAINING
Training is integrated into the system and can be accessed from all modules.
